A Muslim mortician in New Jersey takes two boys under his wing to teach them how to build caskets, wash bodies and live better lives. Each are running from their past but realize they need to rely on each other if they’re going to beat the streets and live up to the potential they’re fighting for.
Zeshawn Ali is a filmmaker and director based in Brooklyn. He’s a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and his films have screened at festivals all across the country. He also works as an producer at Droga5, one of the top commercial agencies in the country.
