Zeshawn Ali is originally from Ohio and a graduate of Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. He has directed narrative and documentary shorts and was also a producer at the commercial agency Droga5. “Two Gods” is his first feature film and has received support from Tribeca Film Institute, ITVS, Ford Foundation, Sundance Institute, Points North Institute and Hot Docs. He is a member of Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective and a filmmaker in residence at Meerkat Media. He is currently based in New York.
Aman Ali is an award-winning storyteller and one of the most prominent social media personalities in the Muslim community today. His passionate and animated tales he regularly posts to Facebook continue to go viral by the thousands daily. He is the co-creator of the social media phenomenon 30 Mosques in 30 Days, a 25,000 mile roadtrip he took to all 50 states in the U.S. to tell stories about the Muslim American community. He’s been featured on dozens of media outlets such as the New York Times, CNN, NBC News, HBO, BBC, and NPR.
